Follow the"two easy steps" to apply for a job:

1) If you are between 14-24 years old, and are interested in getting a job through GYA, fill out the online application.
2)
Bring completed application to our offices at 1255 S. Central Ave., Glendale, CA, 91204, and we will give your application will to the staff of the most appropriate program for you, based on your age, experience and qualifications, our staff members will then match you with ob opportunities with businesses in our community.

Students Taking Action to Reach for the Stars (STARS) Program

In this program, youth age 14-18 are placed in jobs in the community, such as at local hospitals, nonprofit organizations, libraries, schools and public agencies. Participants in this program are able to work more independently under the supervision of an adult. Students who have developed their job readiness skills in the Summer Fire Prevention/Brush Clearance Program or in GYEP can move into the STARS program.

This program operates both during the summer and during the school year. To apply, follow the instructions at the top of the page, and turn in your application by May 1 for the Summer program, and by October 1 for the school-year program.
